The group formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1994. This is not the same Pendulum as the drum and bass group that released Hold Your Colour, In Silico and Immersion. Pendulum was a partnership between two Melbourne DJs Noel M and Julian W. They released their first single in 1995 with "I Need You", which reached no1 in Australian Dance charts within three weeks after its release. After its success, Pendulum released "Awesome Party/Insecurity" the following year in 1996.
Overload is a rock band from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Founded in 2004, the band is directed by founder, vocalist and drummer Farhad Humayun, who was soon joined by Sheraz Siddiq on keyboards, Hassan Mohyeddin on percussions and dhol players, Pappu Sain and Jhura Sain. Overload are regarded as the "Loudest band in Pakistan" by many critics. Since their inception, the band has released two studio albums. The band's self-titled debut album, Overload, released in 2006, charted at no1 spot in the Pakistani music charts. After the release of the band's first album, Pappu Sain, regarded as the greatest dhol player in the world, left the band due to ill health. He was replaced by Nasir Sain. The Overloaded Singles Tour is a 2007 concert tour by British pop trio the Sugababes in support of their first Greatest Hits album touring the United Kingdom and Ireland. The tour was the second with new member Amelle Berrabah, after co-founder Mutya Buena quit the band in late December 2005. To coincide with their Top 3 greatest hits album in 2006, the Sugababes announced they would be touring throughout the UK and Ireland from March 2007. Helen Rogers (born in 1962) began singing in 1978 with One Stop Music, an independent South London label specialising in reggae music. After joining Brit funk band Direct Drive as lead vocalist in 1982, Rogers (along with bandmates Pete Quinton, Robert Williams, Mick Ward and Mick Hammond) entered the Black Echoes Top 20 with "In The Middle of Spring" and "Pass The Paper" respectively. In December 1984 the band released "Anything?" which reached no1 in the UK Black Echoes chart, remaining there for six weeks, and crossed over to the UK Singles Chart peaking at no67. This occurred after the band had signed to Polydor Records. Direct Drive then released "A.B.C. (Falling in Love's Not Easy)" which also charted peaking at no75 in the UK Singles Chart.
